Firm History - The Law Office of David Stone & Associates 

The Law Office of Davie Stone and Associates was founded by David Stone, a fourth-generation life-long resident of the City of New Rochelle, whose family first settled in New Rochelle in the mid 1800's. Mr. Stone attended the public schools of New Rochelle, college at Boston University, and law school at John Marshall in Chicago.

Mr. Stone then opened his legal practice in New Rochelle, his hometown, out of a love for the community, its diversity, and the quality of life it has to offer.

He is an active participant in the New Rochelle and Westchester communities, supporting multiple public organizations and causes. He is active in local politics and on the Executive Board of the Independence Party for Judicial and Legislative screening and is on the Board of Directors of the Stephen Gaynor School for children with learning disabilities.

Mr. Stone has taught in the paralegal program at Berkley College in White Plains and also is an advocate for the rights of children with learning disabilities. He lectures and provides representation for victims of domestic violence. He raises money for various non-profit and educational organizations, and is an arbitrator of civil cases in the local court.

He regularly attends continuing legal education seminars to stay current of changing areas of the law, and has received extensive training and practical experience in the fields of construction litigation, surety and fidelity law.

David Stone is admitted to and a member in good standing of the New York State and New Jersey Bar, the Federal District Court Bar for New Jersey and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd and 3rd Circuits Bar, and the United States Supreme Court Bar.
